My experiences with the classic M2
This series of posts, written during the first half of 2015, records my experiences with a new-to-me Leica M2 and a clutch of old Leitz lenses. I love SLRs and didn't know how I was going to get on with a Leica so I decided to write about it just as I found it.The LEICA Diaries isn't quite complete yet as I'm sure there are another two or three entries still to be written.

Welcome back Bruce... we missed you! ;-)
I was reading your last post (the "new" minolta) and my eyes dropped on the Leica Diaries...
Well, I've just got my second Leica (the first one is an R-E) but... this time is exacltly an M2.....
For now I have the Voigtlander Color Skopar 35mm f/2,5 on M mount... I'm waiting for an M39 Elmar 90 f/4 and a friend gave me an M39 (adapter ring ordered) Summitar 50 f/2. So i'm going to experience the full pleasure of this camera and Leitz lenses...
Just tested the Summitar (it was dirty inside) on digital and on film (with a Canon 7)...It works great despite the apparence and I like the results. Can't wait to test it on M2...
